When the weather starts to warm up, it’s a sign to bust open your windows and less exciting your cleaning cabinet! Here are a few tips and suggestions when it comes to spring cleaning.
- The Cabinets – Over time, the build-up can collect on your kitchen cabinets — especially if you don’t run the exhaust hood over your range while you cook to keep grease from settling. Use a damp towel with mild dish soap to remove any grease or dust.
2.Your Windows- Cleaning the inside of your windows is can be as equally as important as cleaning the outside.
3. Your Bedding-Your pillows and comforter, since you should be washing things like pillowcases and sheets every two weeks. These fluffy sleeping accessories should be thrown into your washing machine.
4.Your Fridge-Deep Cleaning your fridge by removing all the items and washing the cabinets. Check for out-of-date items and throw them away.
5.Washing Machine– disinfect it with distilled white vinegar and baking soda to keep it fresh and high-functioning. Run the machine with hot water, then add the cleaning agents, and let it sit for 30 to 60 minutes. Afterward, restart your machine, let the water drain, and wipe it dry.
