Burnishing once a week at least to maintain your shine is very important to keeping your floor looking nice and clean. Spectrum can set you up with a reoccurring job for one of our techs to burnish your floors.

Stripping and waxing will remove the old wax that has built up over time. Stripping and waxing can vary with how long it can take

You’ll first apply a stripping solution that literally turns the old wax into a goo-like substance that is extracted and repeated as many times as possible.

The floors then are cleaned with a PH neutral cleaner, allowed to dry completely, and then mopped again to ensure any stripper is off the floor.

Several coats of sealer or wax will be applied depending on what the customer would like.

We recommend using 3-5 coats of wax. If you have a high traffic area you should step up with the number of coats.
